New York City, is probably just the best city in the country, hands down. You can get whatever you, whenever you want and It has such a special place in our hearts. For our honeymoon, we spent a week in the Big Apple, the city that never sleeps, THE city. Everything feels special there, even the dirty water hot dogs, from the carts on the corner, of what seems like every street can create a lasting beautiful memory.
That’s what we care about the most through our photography. Creating lasting memories that you will never forget, and generations way past ours can feel the emotions of two humans in love.
Best Places to Take Photos in New York City
One of our favorite things about NYC is that you’ll never run out of ideas and places to shoot. Every side street, storefront, and random cart on a corner has the potential to be a creative and fun place to take photos.
This couple you’re about to see wanted us to capture their love story AFTER their wedding day because why can’t you throw on your wedding dress after your wedding and relive that beautiful day? The Streets
This might be obvious, but taking photos in the streets of New York City. NYC is one of the most creative locations in the United States. There isn’t a specific street or one breathtaking alleyway that you NEED to go to. But rather an unlimited supply of inspiration that can create a photo like no other and unique to you and your partner.
If you and your partner love film photography doing your photos on the street of NYC is a MUST! So of our favorite film street photographers, we pull a lot of our inspiration from. Exclusively take their photos on random streets of NYC and the results are STUNNING!!
The Subway
Okay, just hear us out on this one. Taking photos on the subway is AMAZING. The subway is one of those things that is just so beautiful to us in a unique way. It is one of the most busy public transit in the world but no one pays any attention to you which creates such an intimate situation. Making photos that capture two people’s truest feelings in an empty crowded box car is a special moment and we highly recommend it.
Brooklyn // DUMBO
This time in New York City we opted for the stunning and reliable location in Brooklyn and did this session in DUMBO. First, OMG. Secondly, OMG. We love it there so much we just can’t wait to get back there and just aimlessly walk around and drink our favorite coffee and matcha. (If you’re looking for some of the best coffee shops near there just shoot us an email and we’ll tell you the best one 😉 ).
